Before I drown in pitch black darkness, light will flatten out my way,
shadows sneak up from behind, life won´t be controlled by grey,
brimstone soldiers occupy, they won´t stay long on our soil,
let temptation not resist, temptation will be our gift.
Forest of faith, surround us for evermore,
lake of wisdom, show us the knowledge from before.
Before I drown in pitch black darkness, light will flatten out my way,
shadows sneak up from behind, life won´t be controlled by grey,
brimstone soldiers occupy, they won´t stay long on our soil,
let temptation not resist, temptation will be our gift.
Bird of liberty, lead us to freedom constantly,
glow of resistance, keep us within the everlasting light.
Dedication to total honesty,
fear will pass but not someday,
seven suns to turn away.
Revelation of total ecstasy,
strength will come but not someday,
seven suns to turn away.

Revelation of total ecstasy,
strength will come but not someday,
seven suns to turn away.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

I fucking love this band. 100% guaranteed that if you opened me up and listened to the sound of my crazy ass black metal heart, it would most likely sound something like this 🤣🖤 bcb723

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
